Performance Platforms
While teaching and studying voice is serious business to Kimberly she maintains a creative, fun and inviting atmosphere for her students. She understands and embraces the fact that singers need to perform and that becoming a great vocalist is about just that... being able to express oneself through music.
Each year Kimberly gives her students several opportunities to share their progress with friends and family in a live, performance environment.
Twice a year any student who would like to participate can perform in the Clark County Theatre located on Flamingo Road. This gives students a chance to get use to a bigger stage and a theatre setting.
A few times a year Kimberly’s student are invited to perform at numerous places. These are tremendous opportunities for singers to hone their vocal performance in front of a live audience of people they may or may not know. One of her main goals is to help her students showcase their growing talent.
In addition to the above venues, Kimberly is known to periodically hold performance classes. These classes focus on developing performance skills such as; repertoire, audition, vocal technique, handling performance anxiety, presentation, song interpretation, stage presence, and microphone technique.
